PostSubject: MBVROC club jacket patches   Sun Jun 12, 2011 6:15 pm

I've had several of the newer members ask me where they can get their jacket patch, and the answer is nowhere.... But if we have enough interest I ca n run another patch order. The club has some money still left over from previous years BBQ's so we could actually have a supply of patches "in stock" if the members approve of this.

The patches cost about $30 when I last did an order, and minimum order was 12. As the program is made and can be run I would assume there would not be much difference in price but will check tomorrow. But I'd like to know if spending the club's money for patches to be available for purchase by new members would be acceptable, or if we should just make an order when we have 12 members wanting to buy patches. . Please vote on this:

K I voted for buying them, with the rational that I do not believe it to be fair that a new member may have to wait a year or more to get a patch. Provided that it will not hurt that club financially, and we have the money.
