I just came on to the site to tell the VROC world....and you beat me to it!!! Yes, this is my beloved ride for sale. I'm buying a bigger, better, newer bike, so I'm trying to blow this one out at an insanely low price. Spread the word, as this is the best deal in town!

Sorry to steal your thunder Embarassed That is a great deal and I'll be sure to let anyone I know who might be interested. Gonna share what the new ride is or do I have to wait until the Ride for Dad?

HAHA...no, I won't make you wait! I just bought a NEW 900 Vulcan Classic LT. You may have seen my post about riding with the HSS people earlier this week, and I was blown away by the difference between my 10-year-old 800 and the new 900. I had already decided that upgrading by a measly 100cc would be crazy for the $$ it would cost, but once I spent 3 and 1/2 hours cruising on the 2010 900, I realized that the 10 years of improvements are pretty substantial. I had my heart set on fuel injection and belt drive for my next bike, and the super-awesome-smooth suspension, bigger gas tank, easy, efforless shifting all combined to convince me that it's not just 100cc, but many other advantages that make it worth the $$$. I'm excited, I'm pumped, and I should be on my new ride in time for the Ride for Dad next weekend! Can't wait!!

Congrats, they are a beautiful bike. Char and I looked one over very closely and had we not found the screaming deal on my Nomad that is likely what I would have ended up with last fall.

Congratulations on your new 900. If I didn't have V-Nix, I'd buy a 900. And if I hear of anyone looking, I'll tell them of your "old" bike.
See you in a week!

It's Monday, I'm at work, and it's lunch hour....so I finally found a minute to change my avatar here and a couple other places. Otherwise, I was way too busy riding my new bike. Very Happy

Great blue! Should call it "little whale" - Blue on top and a grey underside.... That is some great looking bike, PG....how was the rally? I hoped and prayed as hard as I could for no rain until the evening.... held it back till 6:30 in my neck ofthe woods.

It was really, really fun, even though we got some rain in the afternoon. The whole thing was a pretty awesome experience, and even more exciting for me, breaking in my new toy!
