Glad this is up and running. I purchased another Nomad in the fall after owning a Venture for a couple years. Though I live a fair distance, I hope I can be somewhat active

Looking forward to a summer that I am believing will be great. Also looking to my newer Nomad. Has 40k and is black. Fuel injected over the carbed bike. I am assuming I'll get better mileage.

I would assume so. I know that my carb'd 1500 Classic gets maybe 44mpg on the highway whereas Vodu's FI 1500 Classic was getting about 53mpg on the Sturgis trip in 2003. I quote this because we were riding together a lot so it is same temps, humidity, speeds, inclines, etc. Any closer comparison would take a Dyno chamber. But yeah - better mpg for sure!

Be sure to dump a half of a can of SeaFoam into the first full gas tank of the season. It will clean the top end out like new!
